| WHY MARMOT? |
We're a winter playground for all ages. Ski
the seemingly unending slopes of Marmot Basin Ski Area, just 20 minutes away from
the town of Jasper. With 53 trails, 1000 acres of skiable Rocky Mountain
terrain, and some runs stretching up to 3.5 miles, Marmot ranks as one of the best
places in the country to ski, snowboard or telemark.
With spectacular mountain scenery and peaks that tickle the sky, Marmot is a great
place for all skill levels. The best part, though, is that you'll barely have enough
time to adjust your goggles in the lift lines - they're that short. In turn, the
slopes are considerably less crowded than other resorts.
Marmot has all the services skiers need, from rental equipment, ski lessons, restaurant
facilities, townsite bus service and a unique parking lot that allows you to ski
to and from your vehicle. Eight ski lifts - one a high - speed quad - can transport
10,080 people per hour. Since vacations are about freedom and fun, our Little Rascals Nursery Program provides freedom for adults and a fun supervised
play centre for children from 19 months to seven years of age. |
